What does CNC Machining Stand for?

The cutting tool cuts material (chips) from a full piece of material. We place that workpiece on the moving table of the machine. The spindle with the mill is located above the workpiece.

A processing unit controls the vertical (Z axis) motion of the cutter and the horizontal (X and Y axis) motion of the block of material while the cutting tool turns.
