Machined, moulded and assembled parts for industrial equipment
Industrial equipment parts are the structural, precision and wear components that machine builders and equipment OEMs need to keep production lines, process plant and handling systems running. Davantech makes these parts to your drawings: CNC-machined aluminium, stainless and brass housings, manifolds, brackets, shafts and flanges; machined POM, PA66 and PVDF wear parts, bushings, rollers and guides; injection-moulded thermoplastic covers; and TPE or TPU overmoulded cables and sealed connectors built to survive harsh, wet and chemically aggressive environments.
We are a build-to-print factory. You supply a 3D model or a 2D drawing with tolerances, materials and finish notes, and we quote, review the design for manufacturability and produce the part. The focus is low-to-mid volume runs, prototypes through to repeatable production batches, where dimensional accuracy, durability and sealing matter more than mass-market unit cost. Our CNC machining services and moulding lines sit under one ISO 9001:2015 quality system, so a single supplier can cover machined bodies, moulded covers, overmoulded cables and final product assembly.

Which process suits which part
Use the blocks below to map a common industrial equipment part to the right Davantech process and a sensible material. It is a starting point for your enquiry, not a fixed rule: the final route depends on your drawing, tolerances and volume, which we confirm during the free design review. Materials and figures are typical values and starting points, not guaranteed specifications.

Sealed connectors
IP67 and IP68 cable entries for wet and dusty sites.

Cable assemblies
Soldered or crimped terminations with strain relief moulded on.

Threaded metal inserts in plastic
Metal fixings moulded into plastic bodies in one step.

Sub-assemblies and modules
Built, wired and bonded into a tested module, ready to fit.
Note: All metal parts are machined from solid billet or bar. Davantech does not offer casting, forging, sheet metal fabrication, bending or welding, so parts are designed to be machined or moulded rather than fabricated.
Materials we run and where they fit
Industrial equipment parts live in oil, coolant, vibration, wash-down and sometimes aggressive chemistry. Choosing the right material is half the durability problem. Below is a short guide to the metals and engineering plastics Davantech machines and moulds, and the duty each one suits. We provide material or mill certificates on request so you can trace what went into a part.

| Material | Best for | Typical properties |
|---|---|---|
| Aluminium 6061 / 6082 | General housings, brackets, plates | Light, strong, easy to machine and anodise |
| Aluminium 7075 | Highly stressed structural parts | High strength; used where 6061 is not stiff enough |
| Stainless 303 / 304 | Shafts, fasteners, general corrosion duty | Good corrosion resistance; 303 machines more freely |
| Stainless 316 | Marine, food and chemical environments | Superior corrosion resistance to chlorides |
| Brass C360 | Fittings, precision turned parts | Free-machining, clean threads, good finish |
| POM / acetal | Bushings, gears, low-friction guides | Stiff, dimensionally stable, self-lubricating |
| PA66 nylon | Wear pads, rollers, tough covers | Tough and abrasion-resistant; absorbs some moisture |
| PVDF | Acid and solvent-contact parts | Excellent chemical resistance; machined or moulded |
Note: Davantech does not machine titanium and does not offer PEEK, silicone or LSR. For chemically demanding duty we use PVDF or stainless 316. If a part needs a material outside this list, tell us and we will advise the closest option we can genuinely run.
Machined parts and moulded parts
Most industrial equipment jobs fall into one of two routes. Precision structural and wear parts are machined from solid; covers, sealed connectors and cable assemblies are moulded or overmoulded. Davantech runs both under one roof, so a single assembly can combine machined bodies with moulded and overmoulded parts without splitting the supply chain.
Best for sealing
When a metal part carries loads, absorbs vibration or needs precise fits, machining wins. When a part must seal against water and dust or bond a cable to a connector body, overmoulding wins. Many machine builders use both on the same unit.
Build-to-specification, from drawing to assembled part
Davantech is set up for different kinds of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies, and equipment OEMs who need a dependable overseas partner for parts they design themselves. You keep control of the design; we make it accurately, flag anything that will cause trouble, and ship it. Here is what you get.
- Free DFM review: before we cut metal we check your drawing for features that are hard, slow or risky to machine, and suggest fixes that keep the function and cut the cost.
- Durability first: parts are specified for real duty, oil, coolant, vibration and wash-down, using aluminium, stainless, brass or engineering plastics rather than the cheapest option.
- Harsh-environment sealing: TPE and TPU overmoulded connectors and cable entries rated to IP67 and IP68 for wet, dusty and outdoor installations.
- Chemical resistance: PVDF and stainless 316 for parts in contact with acids, solvents and aggressive process media.
- Low-to-mid volume friendly: machined routes need no tooling, so prototypes and small batches start quickly and repeat runs stay consistent.
- One supplier, whole part: machining, moulding, insert moulding, soldering, wire termination, adhesive bonding and product assembly under one ISO 9001:2015 system.
- Traceable quality: material or mill certificates and inspection reports on request, with measured features checked against your drawing.
- Stainless specialists: corrosion-resistant stainless steel components for food, marine and chemical equipment.

Industrial equipment part questions
Can you machine parts from my drawings without a mould?
Yes. Machined parts are cut from solid billet or bar, so there is no tooling cost and no minimum order tied to a mould. Send a 3D model or a dimensioned 2D drawing and we can quote single parts, prototypes or production batches. Injection moulding is only worth it once your volumes justify a tool, which we will tell you honestly.
Which materials do you offer for industrial parts?
For machining we run aluminium 6061, 6082 and 7075, stainless 303, 304 and 316, brass C360, POM acetal, PA66 nylon and PVDF. For moulding and overmoulding we use thermoplastics with TPE or TPU overmould. We do not machine titanium and do not offer PEEK, silicone or LSR, so if a part needs one of those we will point you to the closest option we can genuinely supply.
How do you seal connectors and cables for harsh environments?
We overmould TPE or TPU directly onto the connector and cable, which forms a continuous seal and moulded strain relief. This route reaches IP67 and IP68 ratings for wet, dusty and outdoor installations. We can also terminate wires by soldering or crimping and bond parts with adhesive as part of the same assembly.
Can you handle parts that contact chemicals?
Yes. For acids, solvents and aggressive process media we use PVDF, which can be machined or moulded, or stainless 316 where a metal part is needed. Tell us the media, temperature and concentration and we will advise which of these materials suits the duty.
What tolerances and quality checks can I expect?
Typical machined precision features hold approximately +/-0.025 mm, with tighter tolerances possible on specific features when the drawing calls for them. We work to ISO 9001:2015 from our Dongguan factory under European engineering management, and provide material or mill certificates and inspection reports on request.
